How does the remodeling process start?
Every project begins with a phone consultation followed by an in-home evaluation. This allows us to confirm that your project aligns with our services, service areas, and quality standards before moving forward.
During the in-home consultation, we take measurements, discuss layout and design goals, review inspiration ideas, and gather all details needed to prepare an accurate proposal.
What is the 15-Day Proposal?
After your in-home consultation, we prepare a detailed 15-Day Proposal that outlines the scope of work, materials, and pricing for your project.
The proposal is valid for 15 days and includes transparent pricing based on current labor and material costs. Accepting the proposal reserves your spot in our construction schedule and allows us to move into the pre-construction phase.
Why is there a project retainer?
The project retainer allows our team to begin detailed planning, drawings, material selections, and scheduling. It also secures your place in line on our build calendar.
The retainer is applied directly toward your total project cost and ensures that all preparation work is handled professionally before construction begins.
What happens during the pre-construction meeting?
The pre-construction meeting is where final details are reviewed and approved. This includes:
- Final drawings and layouts
- Material selections and finishes
- Project timeline and scheduling
- Final contract review and sign-off
Once this step is complete, your project is officially ready to move into construction.
How is scheduling handled?
Scheduling is based on material availability and project scope. Once all materials have confirmed delivery dates, we create a detailed construction schedule outlining each phase of the remodel.
You’ll receive clear communication so you know what to expect before work begins.
Who manages my project during construction?
Every project is assigned a dedicated Project Manager. Your Project Manager oversees daily progress, coordinates trades and deliveries, and serves as your main point of contact throughout the build.
This ensures clear communication, accountability, and quality control from start to finish.
How are changes handled during the project?
Any changes to scope, materials, or design are handled through a formal Change Order process. This keeps pricing transparent and ensures all adjustments are documented and approved before work proceeds.
What happens at the end of the project?
Once construction is complete, your Project Manager will schedule a final walk-through. During this visit, we review all completed work, verify finishes, and ensure everything meets our quality standards.
After final approval, your project is officially complete and ready to enjoy.
